Welcome to NEAOBA

The New England Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association NEAOBA is a vibrant and inclusive organization made up of a majority of alpaca farmers in New England. NEAOBA provides "a little help from my friends" to all of it's members in the way of...

  • promotion of the "alpaca lifestyle" at fairs, show and events
  • communication and information via newsletters, mailings and e-mail
  • educational seminars for members and veterinarians
  • support of the alpaca and fiber markets with local, regional and national marketing efforts. NEAOBA gives its' members ways to connect with other alpaca farmers that help to build a community here in New England.

NEAOBA members feel passionately that their alpacas are like nothing else on earth -- inquisitive and gentle creatures that provide the most luxurious of natural fiber, as well as a solid business investment.

There are no finer quality alpacas than right here in New England, which, with its' family farm tradition, ideal climate, and outstanding alpaca bloodlines and strong regional association (NEAOBA) make New England the perfect place to buy and raise alpacas.

Just one touch...and you may fall in love with alpacas too!

***The 2008 NEAOBA-sponsored New England Coastal Classic (NECC) Halter and and Fleece Show will be held the weekend of October 18-19, 2008.
