Huacaya Herdsires

Zumi is probably our favorite alpaca here on the farm. He is gentle, highly intelligent and just a pleasure to be around. He goes with us to all the fairs and has even met the Governor! Add to that a grey fleece with no spots and an incredible hand, and you get a combination that you just can't beat. Zumi has a strong grey background with two grey parents. He has four grey grandparents as well with Peruvian Macusani on the sire's side and The Silversmith on the Dam's. Zumi's sire, Jed, consistently produced grey and black offspring when bred to females of any color. We expect Zumi's first cria in late August of 2005. The dam is a fine fleeced white girl so we are anxious to see the results.
