Simon Sez is a beautifully blended light rose gray with
nary a spot on him, and he has Augusto, Hemingway and
Silversmith bloodlines to boot! Simon is a solidly
built male with great conformation and perfect bite.
His fleece exhibits a crimp not often seen in gray,
along with density and a beautiful handle. The judge at
the 2003 PAOBA Breeders Choice alpaca show, where Simon
took color champion, had this to say about him: "I had
my eyes on him as soon as he entered the ring. He is a
perfect example of what a rose gray should be. He has
it all -- beautiful even color, no spots, good fiber,
and great conformation." The judge at the 2004 MAPACA
called Simon a "pretty spectacular male."
Simon's cria have been exceptionally vigorous and
healthy from the start. They share his Peruvian look,
heavy bone, beautiful conformation and bite, and
presence. In addition, Simon has passed on to his
offspring his wonderful handle and fleece character, no
matter the color. While a few of his babes are old
enough to show this spring, they will be hitting the
show string in force in the Fall.
