His fleece is bright white, has high frequency bold crimp and his density is hard to put into words. "Thick as a brick" comes to mind. Khan has a solid build and a gorgeous head with a crimpy topknot.
We are particularly excited to see Khan's first crias and they
indicate that Khan, more than likely, has a brown color recessive. He has sired crias from
dark brown with black points all the way to pure bright
white! Khan's exceptional white fleece characteristics
will certainly stamp something very special on the
fleece of
any colored offspring.
The Khan's lineage
includes Vengador and Allin Capaca, the two sons of
Shere Khan from the Accoyo Ranch, perhaps the most
recognized and famous herdsire in Peru. Aga Khan and
Shere Khan share many of the same attributes, including
the extraordinary density of their fleeces, their
overall fiber coverage and the compactness of their
frames. This is a male that has to be seen, and
touched, to be fully appreciated!
