Winchester Steel is producing, like his famous sire Gunsmoke and his grandsire 4P. Condor, rich, solid gray offspring, not to mention appaloosa patterns.
We are very excited by his very first year of production here, as we have two solid gray suri females out of light fawn dams and a solid gray male from a rose-gray 4P. Silver Bullet daughter.
Winchester was a thoughtfully bred animal, with three generations of solid grays on his sire's side, and three generations of fancies on his dam's side.
On our partners' farm, he has produced several rare colored appaloosas, including a gray and white male and a reverse (fawn coat white spots) appaloosa female.
He is as correct and solid as his picture here suggests, too.
