Navajo Gold was named for his rich fleece color exhibiting a blinding luster. He is the son of Peruvian Baccarat (Accoyo) who is beige, a grandson of Accoyo Bruxo, and is following his full brother's footsteps, WRSR Accoyo Razor, in winning championships. His dam is DDF Mulan, a 1/2 Accoyo beige high luster producer out of the well-known Accoyo Bruxo. With a background of champion Accoyo bloodlines, we expect his progeny to do well in breeding programs and the show ring. Navajo's disposition is curious, friendly, easy-going, and he is a sheer pleasure to be around.
Navajo's fleece is incredibly fine with a very soft, slick handle. AOBA Judge Jude Anderson described the cool, slickness of his fleece, "Your hand runs through his fleece like butter. An exceptionally fine fleece with a beautiful soft hand." His tightly beaded locks drape uniformly from his body, and hide a treasure of dark brown areas in his fleece. Navajo has been shorn and has incredible regrowth of super silky curls uniformly across his body it is quite a sight to behold!
If you are looking for an outstanding full Peruvian, 3/4 Accoyo male, then you found him in Navajo. We expect he will provide us the same high quality crias as his full brother, WRSR Accoyo Razor by producing high luster, slick-locked and dense crias that win in the show ring.
Breedings will be available in both Maryland and New Hampshire. Navajo is co-owned with Bouldermont Suri Alpacas in New Hampshire.
