NEAOBA BOD Meeting
September 18, 2011
7:00 P.M.

This is a continuation of the September 14, 2011 meeting on the status of the NEAC.
The Board is more optimistic now than we were earlier. More farms have begun to
register for the show. At this point we feel confident that there will be more registrations
to come.
Action to be taken by the BOD and Show Committee to help to ensure better
attendance at NEAC :
According to Liz MacEachran, there are only a few farms from MA that are currently
entered into the show. She will make more calls to MA farms to encourage their
participation.
Matt Townsend will have an E-Blast sent out to the Maine Alpaca Breeders reminding
them of the show.
New E-Blasts will be sent out weekly to show an update on the show’s status as well as
a thank you to the newly registered farms and sponsors.
One other topic was discussed at this meeting. It was determined that the number of
NEAOBA Newsletters printed for the Fall Edition would be 1000.
The BOD and Show Committee will meet again on September 28, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. to
make a final determination about the NEAC show.
