When either storing fiber, or sending it out to be processed keep it in 100 lb. nylon grain bags, possibly you can get these at your feed store. Using these grain bags allows the fiber to breathe and help prevent sweating as plastic bags do and also when shipping significantly cuts down on the cost. These bags are easily sealed by hand sewing or simply taping with packing tape.
