Black Storm & Light
Multiple Blue Ribbon Winner! Born during a wicked winter blizzard, Storm is a hearty, big-boned male. Full fleece coverage from top knot to toes. His sire is an awesome black Bueno son/Felix grandson. His dam, also black, had fiber stats of 21.8, 4.9, 22.5, 5.9 at 7 years of age! (unheard of in any breeding female of that age....never mind a black female!). Storm has gotten all the best qualities of his parents, ultra fineness, frequent crimp, luster, density and great stature.

Blue Lakes Hot Chocolate
$800 introductory breeding fee! This solid Medium Rose Grey male is a multiple ribbon winner with genetics inherited from grand-sire EL MOUSTACHIO and sire EL CUBA. Fiber is excellent with great density and staple length. And to top it all, he has a very charming personality. If you are looking for color and want to introduce some rose grey to your breeding program, Hot Chocolate is worth taking a look at. Hot Chocolate is co-owned with Blue Lake Alpacas.

Bouldermont's Vortex
Vortex is the son of 1/2 Accoyo WRSR Peruvian Maelstrom ('00 AOBA Double Champion). Maelstrom's sire, 4Peruvian Sargento is from the Fredy Velez herd in Peru and his full Accoyo dam is 4Peruvian Tesora de Marfil. Rosie Jax, Vortex's dam, is a 2000 MAPACA blue ribbon winner with soft dense fleece. Vortex has perfect conformation and outstanding suri characteristics. His uniform high luster fleece is dense with independence of lock. Vortex was second in very competitive juvenile classes at the '04 NAAS and fifth at the '04 MAPACA shows. He has a wonderful easy-going disposition. He is unproven, but will begin his breeding career in the spring of '07.

Connie Chung gave birth to Quentin's Carolina Moon on June 8, 2009. Carolina Moon is a true black female. We proudly co-own Andean Bronze Calix, a gorgeous male with Maple View Farm Alpacas in Brandon, VT. Calix is available for breeding by contacting Maple View Farm. Much controversy and secrecy revolves around discussion and use of blue-eyedwhite alpacas (BEWs) in breeding programs. Blue-eyed white alpacas are all-white alpacas, with blue eyes, which are often (but not always) deaf. Recently some alpaca farmers have suggested that the BEWs should not be used for breeding so this gene can be eliminated from the American alpaca gene pool.
