Caligula's Casanova
Casanova: when only the very best will do!

Caligula's Casanova
Casanova represents the zenith of Accoyo/Alianza cross males. His late, great sire, Caligula, is legendary and his dam is still producing and among the finest Alianza import females in the US.

Caligula's Peruvian Paragon
Paragon is Full Peruvian (1/2 Accoyo)Caligula Son

Calla's Peruvian Cheerio at Ibiwisi Alpacas

Cangalli Gold's Quentin
Cangalli Gold delivers! Quentin represents all that we admired in Cangalli Gold and, out of Kassandra, he retains her beige coloring with great coverage. Quentin placed third in a very large halter class at the 2005 NECC and his fiber took 4th behind Riana, his half sister's by .75 points. He placed sixth at the Empire Extravaganza in an even larger, tougher class and his fiber took 3rd, again behind his half sister's, at the 2006 Empire Symposium. His fiber quality is reflected in the 20 out of 20 score in fineness and handle. His fleece analysis shows the consistency of his fleece with a 19.5 micron but also a SD of 3.3, a CV of 17 and a CF of 99.4%. We are pleased to see how well he is holding his fineness.

At the 2006 North American Alpaca Show, Quentin placed third behind the Color Champion and Reserve Champion. Judged by Jude Anderson, she commented about his extremely fine fleece, coverage and his great confirmation. Comments on his fiber from the 2006 MAPACA Jubilee also noted his fineness and great staple length, awarding him 19 out of 20 on fineness/handle and 7 out of 7 on length. Most recently he placed second behind the Color Champion again. Kristin Buhrmann's comments were great conformation, great fleece! She noted his crimp from shoulder to rump, excellent bone, broad chest and coverage.

Quentin is available for breeding at your farm (mobile) or at ours (drive-by). Contact us for more details.

Cannonero
When choosing a herdsire, it's generally enough to know that legendary Peruvian Hemingway and Accoyo Camilio are his ancestors. Studmaster, MSA Peruvian Cannonero can boasts the above, but he's also grandson to one of the truly great dams in the U.S.

Canzelle's Zambezi

CB EL NEGRO'S CALLISTO
Callisto is a True Black out of two True Blacks. He has several 1st and 2nd place ribbons in full fleece, shorn and fleece classes representing the fact that this male is a solid all around quality male. He also has daughters, a whole bunch of them, six in fact at this time. He is level headed and easy to handle. His fleece has super nice crimp with excellent bundling, incredible brightness and handle, excellent coverage and density. Callisto has impressive bone, wonderful conformation and does this without be huge! He is also the son of the famous El Negro (PPPeruvian Inca) the King of Mariah Alpacas. Here is your chance to breed to an outstand True Black male at a reasonable price.

CCNF Onyx
Multiple blue ribbon winning Snowmass Nova son! A solid non fading true black herdsire with uniform crimp, density and luster wrapped around an impeccable conformation.

CCNF SuperCalifragilistic...
Looking into his fleece, you will see an elite, bright, bundling, high amplitude, high frequency fleece with excellent density. I am not exaggerating with all of these superlatives...you have to put your hands on him to believe it!

CCNF Synergy
And the Legacy continues....as Synergy makes his mark on the next generation. Consider taking your breeding program to the next level with this exceptional herdsire of full Peruvian heritage. Synergy is available for limited outsude breedings.

Cedar Brook's Ichabod "The Bod"
Bod has been aptly named "The Bod" as he is a strongly conformed stud with excellent fiber and lineage. Although his fiber is the combination of bay black and gray that is typical of a dark silver gray, he has won multiple awards at a variety of shows in the dark indefinite class.

His offspring are just beginning to hit the ground... and they are dark, sometimes black, and beautiful!

Cedar Brook's Incan Treasure
Incan Treasure is the BEST True Black Yearling shown at the Coastal Classic, the BigE, PAOBA, North American and the 2009 AOBA Nationals!

The judges have loved the fineness, density, brightness, and consistent well-defined character of his fleece... and although they have looked very carefully, they have not found one white fiber, which makes him especially valuable in your black breeding program!

Celestial Accoyostar

Cerveza's Avogadro

Charles P. Atlas Sampson
Sampson is a chip off the old block.

Although still young, he stands straight, has great conformation, his fiber is bright, crimpy, soft as butter, he is developing a nice top knot and his personality is that of a true leader. He shows a lot of promise to walk in his mom and dad's shoes as a champion.

Chase Tavern Estrada
We are very proud and excited to offer the services of a multiple (7X) champion and blue-ribbon winner (Over 22 blues in total!), CT Estrada. After proving himself in the show-ring so many times, he has found his way to proving himself as a producer of exceptional offspring. Estrada has very dense, fine fleece, with a high-frequency crimp all over, great coverage and conformation. April 25, 2009, alpaca judge wrote, "Very stunning fleece-incredibly fine and uniform throughout! Dense and bright."

Chatham Lancaster's Zenith

Chatham Skywalker's Peruvian Lancaster
Three year old junior herdsire. Championship white genetics. Strong conformation with densely-crimped fiber that is maintaining softness and hand. Gentle dispostion.

King's 1st year birthday came with the best present - a purple banner for color champion! King is a beautiful male - his lineage can't be beat and he has inherited the best from both his dam (Accoyo Royal Fawn and Accoyo El Moustachio bloodlines) and his sire, Accoyo Plantel. King has an amazing confirmation, very dense fiber and a lovely architecture to his fleece. He has a wonderful personality and has been turning heads since the day he was born! Join us at Clark Summit Alpacas to see King in person - you'll be as pleased as we are! ClarkSummitAlpacas.com

Clear Mountain's PowerStroke
PowerStroke's fleece is an amazing example of how true bundling and well defined crimp looks. This is a direct result of careful discernment in our breeding program and we couldn't be happier. Wade Gease recently described his fleece at the VAOBA show as "electrifying!". Take advantage of our introductory breedings to add this beautiful fleece style to your herd.

Corazon's Caruso Di Bella Vita
Caruso has dense, crimpy fleece, great confirmation and a gentle disposition. His genetics are not common on the East Coast. He is available for limited breedings starting in May.

Corky Roscrae
True black three year old. Fleece is fine, shiney and blue-black. Corky has a gentle and inquisitive nature.

Coyo Destini

Coyo Destini
Proven, prepotent and full accoyo! Coyo Destini was a very well established and very well respected herdsire while he lived in Canada. His respect was earned by consistently producing top quality offspring.

Crescent Moon's Semper Fidelis
Semper Fidelis is a Legacy son and a Don Julio grandson, but he's also a champion all on his own. At two years of age his micron was 22.5 with an impressive CV of 12.9. Crimson Prince

Crown Point's Royal Gold
Royal Gold, he keeps getting better and better! Royal Gold's first cria will be hitting the ground this summer! After breeding now for a year, Royal Gold just won a Super Second place at the North American Alpaca Show. This was in the 2 and over LF males!! Wow, this boy is amazing, he always comes in in the top three, in halter and in fleece, he is dense, fine, and bright with tiny crimp. He has a near perfectly conformed physique nice broad chest, straight legs and top line. The judge at the North American said he was a "magnificent male"! I will do a drive by for you, just set up a pen, and we will come!

CTF/FMA Wolverine
Wolverine is the FULL PERUVIAN - Super Hero you've been waiting for. Boasting a SUPER fine Dark Fawn fleece, with perfect density and superior crimp definition to boot! He is the first offspring of Magnito (standing stud at Chase Tavern Farm & Silvercloud Farm) and hails from the ACCOYO-GRAND MASTER line! Mom is also a proven producer of ribbon-winning offspring. Very nice temperament on this young male as well. Combined with his perfect conformation, and beautiful head-style, he truly is the COMPLETE package! (His fleece took a Blue Ribbon at the 2007 AOBA Nationals). All of these attributes he is now passing onto his beautiful offspring!!

2010 UPDATE - So far now 14 amazing cria on the ground. ALL are show quality in an assortment of color, from White, to Beige, to Brown, to Fawn, to True Black, to GRAY!!. Stunning conformations, crimp, dense, shiny, fine fleeces, and typey heads. Very very satisfied with these cria.

Chorioptic Mange in Alpacas By Ibiwisi Alpacas
Catherine Connor
The summer is winding down and our thoughts are turning toward the cool days of autumn. After this season of extreme humidity, the alpacas will be thrilled with the brisk weather, as will I. I've heard quite a bit of buzz in the last few months about cases of odd skin conditions in alpacas, and often these conditions have turned out to be chorioptic mange. Whether the number of cases have increased or there is just more talk about it is unclear, but it seems to be here to stay...

Capital Requirements
Prices for shelter, fencing and labor vary widely based on geographic location, as well as individual needs and tastes. For example...

Creating a Herd
First, determine your goals for alpaca ownership. Would you like to own an inexpensive pair of gelding males for fiber production or as pets for you and your family? Are you going to be a full-time or part-time breeder...
