Alpaca

SA Peruvian Coranado
Coranado is a gorgeous light brown Huacaya male, with solid conformation. He also has beautiful, dense fiber, with excellent crimp and handle. We regard him as one of our top herdsires for these reasons.

SA Peruvian Nikolai
Son of the venerable 4P. Black Magic, Nikolai aced the show-ring, picking up Reserve Color honors as a juvenile at MAPACA Jubilee 2002. With a proud, erect bearing, he is an excellent example of the quality of the Stachowski breeding program -- and his fleece has all the brilliance and character to this day that made him such a spectacular show-ring denizen.

Shadow in the Night
"Black truly is beautiful..." is how Jude Anderson began her oral reasonings for Shadow's second place in yearling black males at MAPACA 2004. Shadow is a true non-fading black suri with coverage dripping to the toes. His independence of lock remained such that he parted like a curtain to the skin until we sheared him at nearly four years of age! And talk about luster...!

Shane Anthony

SLEEPING MONK FARM ARISTOTLE

Aristotle has excellent bone, very correct conformation, a fine, yet very dense fleece, exhibiting very nice crimp and a very long staple length. Aristotle pulls his Accoyo heritage from both sides of his pedigree and Alianza from his dam's side. He has great presence and is very easy to work with.

SLEEPING MONK FARM ARLO
SMKF ARLO, a Polaris son, became a Color Champion at his first show, the NAAS 2006, a Reserve Color Champion at both the NAAS 2007 and the AOBA National Show 2007. ARLO is also a Multi-Time Blue Ribbon Winner. Breed ARLO to your colored females and expect exceptional cria.

STARRY'S Berkeley
Wow... Berkeley has grown and he is fabulous. He has great staple length with brilliant crimp from skin all the way out. He has big bone, lots of fiber everywhere, stands correct, has a perfect bite and a wonderful personality. All of these characteristics placed him 2nd in the North American Alpaca Show, standing proud, 2nd to an equally as beautiful Archangel baby. We are happy to co-own this wonderful boy with our friend Cathy McKenny of IBIWISI alpacas.

Awards Received 2nd Place: 2008 NAAS, Juvie MF Males (Mike Safely) 2nd Place: 2008 MAPACA, Juvie MF Males (Tim Lavan) 2nd Place: 2008 NECC, Ylg MF Males (Kristin Buhrmann) 6th Place: 2008 Big E, Ylg MF Males (David Barboza) 6th Place: 2008 Green Mountain Fall Spectacular, Ylg MF Males (Jude Anderson)

STARRY'S Rastaban
We knew this boy was going to be something special when he was born. His dam is one of our best foundation females. She is full peruvian and 3/4 accoyo. His sire is our own Tahoe who is a son of Bueno. Rastaban has presence, perfect conformation, amazing staple length, density and very nice architecture. He stepped up to the plate this year, taking a 1st and three 2nds. Judges have been impressed by his fineness and his crimp style. He placed 2nd in an all white lineup of bred & owned! It is our pleasure to offer this jr. herdsire at a reasonable price to add to your breeding program.

Awards Received 2nd Full Fleece Halter, Big E, 2008 1st Full Fleece Halter, Green Mountain Fall Spectacular, 2008 2nd Bred & Owned, Green Mountain Fall Spectacular, 2008 4th, Light Fawn Juvenile Male, NAAS, 2007

We are so pleased to have purchased this fine male from Starry Mountain Alpacas! Rastaban is a full Peruvian, Bueno grandson with excellent conformation, a commanding presence and fabulous fiber. His fleece is dense and fine with high frequency crimp and a long staple. His first cria hit the ground in July - a healthy, vigorous fawn male!

Since we own Rastaban's sire and dam, we are offering him both for sale and for breeding. Rastaban's breeding fee is low because he only has a couple cria on the ground and we are eager to see more.
