Advertising opportunities on the NEAOBA web site
Rules:
  1. In order to list anything on the NEAOBA web site, your farm must be a "member in good standing". Translated, your farm member dues must be paid in full and current!
  2. Listings will run for a 1-year period, January to December 31.
  3. Only 1 change will be allowed to any listing during that one-year period. If the animal you have listed is sold, you may replace it with another at no additional charge. You will be allowed to change the listing completely only one time. If the animal is moved to another farm and that farm is to be listed as the residence another fee will apply. This is done with brokerage sales in mind.
  4. Descriptions of the alpacas will be limited to 50 words or less.
  5. Links to your farm web sites and pictures will continue to be done with no associated fees.
  6. "Boarding" or "Agisting" listings will be limited to 50 words.
  7. Farm Event listings will be limited to 50 words. They can be listed 3 months prior to your event and will be removed upon event completion.
  8. Each farm will be given until January 1, 2001 to submit their dues payment and listing payments. If they are not received by that time the listing may be removed from the web site.
  9. Please send all payments to: Jack Dibb
    97 Swain Road
    Barrington, NH 03825
  10. All listing info and pictures are to be submitted to Al Maloney either on the hardcopy form provided in the newsletter or preferably through the new online form which now available in a "members only" area of the NEAOBA web site. The online form can be accessed at this URL http://www.neaoba.org/member/ad_form.html You will be prompted to sign in to the members only area. The user name is "alpaca" and the password is "neaoba". Instructions are provided on the site.
  11. Please remember the time deadline and consider possible communication delays. Sending sooner rather than later is advisable!
Fees: New Alpaca Fiber Product Listing: NEAOBA will be adding a new section to the web site. We will add a section for individual farms to publish a narrative on their farms fiber related products. The narrative will be limited to 50 words. Again, a direct link will be made to your personal web site or e-mail. You will be allowed to list items that are made with American fiber or are produced from an American Co-operative effort. Imported items such as sweaters, hats, and gloves are not to be listed on the web site. This area is being added to promote alpaca fiber awareness. Raw fleece, spun fiber, and finished products may be listed as long as they are from American animals and or an American fiber co-operative effort. Example: items from the AFCNA (finished products and/or spun fiber) will be allowed to be listed because these items are produced from an American Fiber Co-operative. Items imported for the expressed interest of resale are not allowed. If there are any questions on this area, please feel free to call Al Maloney for clarification. The fee for this listing will be $30.00 and it will be limited to 50 words. All other web site related rules apply. This area will be developed when the first request for a listing is submitted.
