Talia Trigg of Willowmere Farm volunteers with Dr. Stephen Purdy’s Nuñoa Project, which assembles a camelid veterinary team every 6 months to assist Andean subsistence farmers in the Peruvian altiplano. The volunteer team provides humanitarian aid alongside veterinary support and is open to veterinary students, veterinarians, and anyone else with enough camelid familiarity and gumption to see it through. Talia joined the team after hearing Dr. Stephen Purdy talk about the Project with NEAOBA members 2 years ago.
